The ABPI’s 2023 flagship annual conference took place on 27 April 2023 and focused on Growing the UK as a Global Hub for Life Sciences.

Delivering the shared goal to make the UK the best place in the world to research, develop and use the medicines and vaccines of the future has never been more important. Life Sciences is a sector that government has identified as being able to deliver the jobs and growth the economy needs.

The agenda included expert speakers from across the UK life sciences ecosystem, with a video message from the Prime Minister, keynote speeches from the Health Secretary and Shadow Secretary of State for business, as well as panel discussions on:

  • R&D as an engine for growth
  • Improving the health and productivity of the whole of the UK
  • Building the UK’s global strengths

Our thanks to the speakers, supporters, ABPI members, and invited guests who attended and made the day so memorable.
